Royal family publicly ignores Princess Lilibet’s 2nd birthday

The terrible twos are off to a terrible start.
The royal family snubbed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once again by publicly ignoring their daughter Princess Lilibet’s 2nd birthday on Sunday.
Unlike last year, the royal family’s official social media channels failed to post about Lilibet’s birthday on Sunday.
And a royal source claims that King Charles III and Queen Camilla wouldn’t share any official birthday wishes for little Lili on social media because they “don’t mark the birthdays of non-working members.”
“They, of course, wish Lilibet a very happy birthday, but nothing will be put out on any channels,” the source told OK! Magazine UK in an article published Sunday.
Charles’ decision to not acknowledge Lilibet’s birthday on social media differs from how his late mom, Queen Elizabeth II, handled the situation last year.
The Queen wished Lilibet a happy 1st birthday in 2022, just months before the longest-reigning British monarch died that September at the age of 96.
“🎈Wishing Lilibet a very Happy 1st Birthday!” Lili’s great-grandmother shared via her official social media account at the time.
The rest of the royals followed suit with Lilibet getting public birthday wishes from Charles, 74, as well as Harry’s estranged brother, Prince William, 40, and his wife, Kate Middleton, 41.
But this year, this was radio silence from the Windsor family, and not a single working royal wished the precious Princess HBD online.
The blatant affront didn’t stop Harry, 38, and Markle, 41 from celebrating their daughter’s big day though.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex — who also share 4-year-old son Prince Archie — reportedly celebrated Lilibet’s birthday with an “all-American affair” in California.
Though another source claimed to New Idea that Charles planned on sending Lilibet a birthday present and “had his aides looking at custom-made cubby houses, similar to what the Queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls.”
Lilibet was born in California after the Sussexes moved to Montecito following their resignation from their royal duties in 2020.
Meanwhile, Archie’s 4th birthday fell on the same day as Charles’s coronation ceremony on May 6.

Markle stayed home in California to celebrate her son’s birthday while Harry traveled to London to attend his father’s historic day solo before swiftly returning to the US to join his family for the festivities.
The red-headed royal was snubbed while attending the coronation, being relegated to the third row and not being assigned an official role.
Harry and Markle have been on the outs with several royal family members after repeatedly dragging the monarchy in several interviews and his controversial “Spare” memoir.
Reps for Harry and Markle did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
