Happy New Year’s Eve, Huntsville! Here’s everything you need to know going on today on this quiet Friday morning:

  1. Huntsville Hospital is going back to a tight visitor policy. As of today, only one visitor will be allowed for non-COVID patients again. (WHNT)
  2. Oakwood University will start out the second semester online and require a COVID test to come back to campus. The last date they expect to be online and the latest move-in date will be January 17. (WHNT)
  3. A planned expansion will allow Facebook/Meta to grow in North Huntsville. There will be road work done in the area to ease the traffic expectations. (Huntsville)
