Bengkulu (ANTARA) – Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs urged local governments and related parties to continue to make the 2024 General Elections informative for the people.

“Everyone hopes that ladies and gentlemen here will hold information sources, which can be used by the public as the guidelines for welcoming the 2024 elections,” the ministry’s Deputy for Coordination, Communication, Information, and Apparatus, Air Vice Marshall Atif Mustofa, stated in Bengkulu, Thursday.

According to Mustofa, an informative election will provide significant positive impacts, both in terms of increasing public trust in the election results and in creating a democratic, just, and transparent festival of democracy.

“I truly believe that ladies and gentlemen will maintain a neutral position by not taking sides. God willing, you will all be blessed with health, so that you will be able to fulfill your duties properly,” he affirmed.

The statement was addressed to regional governments in Bengkulu Province and members of regional Information Commissions across Indonesia during the “Forum for Coordination and Consultation (FKK) of Public Information Transparency in Support of the Informative and Transparent Implementation of the 2024 General Elections” in Bengkulu, Thursday.
