Kamal Nath should apologise to public with folded hands: MP CM Shivraj Chouhan

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan hit back at Kamal Nath in the Barwani district on Saturday, stating the former MP CM owed apology to the youth, elderly, poor and farmers of the state.

By Ravish Pal Singh: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing an election rally in Barwani district on Saturday, lashed out at former Chief Minister Kamal Nath. He said that one should apologise to the public with folded hands.

CM Chouhan said that when the Congress government was in power for one and a half years, they sat with folded hands and now they are folding their hands.

The Chief Minister said that the Congress was going to organise a program called ‘Hath Se Hath Jodo’.

“Congressmen, don’t fold your hands, but apologise! When your government was in power, they sat with folded hands for one and a quarter years. Now, let’s talk about joining hands. Congress people should apologise to those daughters who did not get the benefit of Kanya Vivah Yojana.

“Apologise to the youths who were given false promises of unemployment allowance. Kamal Nath ji, apologise to those poor whose Sambal Yojana you’d stopped. Apologise to those farmers who were made defaulters in the name of a loan waiver. Kamal Nath ji, apologise to my nephews and nieces, whose laptops were taken away by the Congress. Apologise to those elders whose pilgrimage was stopped by Congress,” the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said.

During the recent Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan held in Indore, many NRIs criticised the CM Shivraj Chouhan-led government for the chaos, after which, he apologised to everyone with folded hands from the packed stage.

When a response was asked from former CM Kamal Nath in this regard, he had said that CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan would still have to apologise to many people.
