“It will be without transit round-trip,” said the Batik Air corporate strategic communications on January 24.
Batik will operate the Yogyakarta – Singapore flight via Boeing 737-800NG with 12 business class seats and 150 economy class, which the spokesperson pledged to be the “Most modern generation in the fleet.”
Danang acknowledged that this is also aimed to boost travel access for business people and tourists in Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
This is also being offered ahead of the travel exchange or TRAVEX ATF scheduled to be held at the Yogya Expo Center on February 2-5 and the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2023 opening ceremony.
Yogyakarta – Singapore flight is the 5th route after Jakarta, Medan Kualanamu, Surabaya, and Makassar, Danang elaborated. In the future, additional international routes to Singapore from other cities in Indonesia will be developed based on market demand for domestic and international flights.
