Should the bday person’s partner/party host pick up the table’s tab?

In the latest episode of ‘#RealHousewivesofAtlanta After Show’, Sheree and Sanya get into a heated debate over a confusing tab left behind by Sheree’s man.
Her new boyfriend, #LAMH’s #MartellHolt hosted a dinner party for her birthday. Much of the cast felt that it was tacky of Martell to request cash apps from the guests once the bill arrived. Tensions rise when Sanya explains that was happy to pay, but she DID initially assume Martell would cover the tab for Sheree’s event—which is what typically happens in similar situations with other friends.
