Beyoncé‘s newly announced Renaissance World Tour will be a stadium trek which will start in Europe and then head to North America.
The tour kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10, and will travel through Europe and the U.K. before arriving in North America with a July 8 date in Toronto. Among the cities Bey will visit: Philadelphia, Nashville, Louisville, KY; Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Las Vegas and her hometown of Houston. Full details are available on her website.
Right now, the tour is scheduled to wrap September 27 in New Orleans, LA.
Ticketing will go through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan technology — you can register for it now at beyonce.livenation.com. Sales start February 6 with an exclusive presale for members of the BeyHive. There will also be presales for Citi cardmembers via citientertainment.com and for members of Verizon’s loyalty program, Verizon Up. You can access that via Verizon Up.
As with past tours, there’s also a charitable component. Bey’s charity he BeyGOOD Foundation will support entrepreneurs and small business owners, with a commitment totaling one million dollars to a thousand small businesses. In addition, scholarships of $100,000 each will be given to colleges and universities in ten different cities along the tour.
And finally, working with Beyoncé and the BeyGOOD Foundation, Citi and Verizon will also buy 100 tickets in each market across the U.S. and distribute them to local community initiatives.
