Magic Johnson wasn’t pleased with the way the Recording Academy treated Beyoncé‘s history-making Grammys win. In a pair of tweets shared Wednesday, he expressed his dissatisfaction.

“Over the weekend I was very disappointed with the lack of tribute and recognition the Recording Academy showed Beyoncé after she became the most decorated artist in Grammy history with 32 Grammy awards,” he wrote.

“It should have been a much bigger moment and celebration for her, her family, and her fans from around the world,” the former baller added in a follow-up tweet. “I don’t know if something can be done but to me, it was extremely disrespectful to Beyoncé and all of her work as an artist.”

As reported, Bey made history Sunday when she became the most Grammy-awarded artist. Presenter James Corden and host Trevor Noah made mention of the singer’s feat, but that was it.

In comparison, the NBA took some time Tuesday to honor LeBron James for becoming the league’s all-time leading scorer. They stopped a game to honor him with a celebratory video, and his successor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, presented him with an honorary basketball.

Magic appeared to be satisfied with the NBA’s treatment of LeBron.

“THAT is what a real tribute to celebrate a historic moment should look like,” he tweeted after LeBron’s celebratory moment.
