Dua Lipa smitten on Trevor Noah date, in ‘early’ stages

Dua Lipa was darn near levitating during her dinner date with Trevor Noah earlier this week, Page Six has exclusively learned.

The London-born pop star, 27, and the South African comedian, 38, were spotted Wednesday night sharing an intimate meal at Miss Lily’s in New York City’s East Village, which an insider tells us was a place of Noah’s choosing.

Our informant says Lipa was “smitten” on what was “definitely a date,” though we’re told the pair is in the “very early” stages of getting to know each other.

A separate source tells us Lipa and Noah are not officially a couple.

Photos from the unlikely pair’s outing show them sitting closely during dinner, yet far away from other patrons, before heading off on a stroll afterward.

The duo was seen walking, talking and hugging, with the soon-to-be former talk show host appearing to give the singer-songwriter a kiss.

Our source tells us Noah was “a gentleman” the whole evening and that the two went home “separately.” As for whether the pictures show him planting a smooch on Lipa’s cheek or her lips, we’re told there was “maybe a corner lips kiss.”

“There is definitely interest on both ends,” our insider insists.

For their romantic rendezvous, the “One Kiss” songstress sported a black leather jacket and oversized denim jeans, which she paired with leopard-print kitten heels, minimal makeup and long, straight hair.

The 2021 Grammys host matched his date’s vibe, opting for an olive green jacket and slouchy black pants.

Reps for the stars did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Lipa’s last public relationship was with model Anwar Hadid, 23. They called it quits in December 2021 after more than two years of dating.

“Dua and Anwar are currently taking a break from their relationship and are spending time apart. They’re figuring things out right now,” a source told People at the time, though they never publicly rekindled their romance.

Noah — who announced Thursday he’d be leaving “The Daily Show” after seven years — last dated Minka Kelly, 42. They parted ways this past May after having been together since 2020.

“Minka is single now,” an insider told People at the time, adding that the actress had “the best attitude” regarding the split.

“She is very happy. She’d rather be single than waste her time with the wrong guy,” the source noted.

However, another informant close to both Noah and Kelly told the outlet that they had actually “been broken up for a while.”

It’s that time of year again: There’s a chill in the air and everyone is soft-launching their relationships. Spotted out looking pretty couple-y this week? Soon-to-be-former Daily Show host Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa.

The pair was seen dining at Miss Lily’s in New York on Wednesday, where they apparently shared a kiss before leaving — and the Daily Mail has the extremely blurry photos to prove it.

Does this mean they’re dating? Who can say. They are both reportedly single. Noah split from on-again-off-again girlfriend Minka Kelly earlier this year while Lipa split from Hadid sibling Anwar Hadid last year. Noah did just announce that he’s stepping down from hosting The Daily Show, so he might be about to have a lot more time on his hands. Either way, congrats to them on the soft launch — and our condolences to Jack Harlow.

Outgoing “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah made headlines Thursday for announcing the conclusion of his seven-year stint on the Comedy Central show. But not long before that, he sparked dating rumors with “Levitating” pop star Dua Lipa.

The comedian and “Sweetest Pie” singer were photographed this week apparently locking lips just days before he announced the end of his Emmy-nominated run on the late-night series.

Noah, 38, and Lipa, 27, were spotted Wednesday at Miss Lily’s in the East Village in New York City, according to the Daily Mail, which published several photos of their rendezvous. (The very same publication published a Friday column by Meghan McCain titled “I loved The Daily Show and Trevor Noah ruined it.”)

They “quietly sat away from everyone else at the restaurant,” a source told the tabloid. “It was clear they were into each other and sat close together throughout the meal.”

Noah and Lipa reportedly left together after the meal and took a walk, “stopping for long embraces,” a kiss and hugs.

Representatives for Noah and Lipa did not immediately respond Friday to The Times’ requests for comment.

The rumored romance comes not long after each of them called it quits on their previous high-profile relationships. The “Cold Heart” singer split from her longtime boyfriend, model Anwar Hadid — brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid — in December. The “Born a Crime” author reportedly ended things with actor-girlfriend Minka Kelly last May.

It’s unclear when their relationship started, though the Daily Mail speculated that they crossed paths at this year’s Grammy Awards, which Noah hosted in Las Vegas last April and where the English singer presented with rapper Megan Thee Stallion. (It was a twinning moment reminiscent of a stunt by music legends Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.)

Noah told his studio audience and viewers Thursday that he would step away from “The Daily Show” seven years after taking over the post from comedian Jon Stewart. He criticized President Trump, hosted luminaries, weathered the volatile COVID-19 pandemic and even feuded with rapper Kanye West during his run. (In case you didn’t read McCain’s piece, the conservative argued that “Noah never lived up to his predecessor” in the ratings and that he “got by on his ‘cool kid’ clout in the media.”)

“It’s time,” the late-night host said Thursday on TV and online.

“I realized there’s another part of my life that I want to carry on exploring. I miss learning other languages. I miss going to other countries and putting on shows,” the South Africa-born comic added. “I miss just being everywhere, doing everything.”

Representatives for the series said that there is “no timetable for his departure” and that they’re “working together on next steps.” Here’s hoping they include addressing the dating rumors in his upcoming monologues.

Who said tye-dye can’t be fancy? Anitta wore this multicolored ruffled gown to the Sotheby’s Impact Gala and paired it with a purple asymmetrical bag.

Kelly Ripa and Bethenny Frankel looked ready to celebrate the launch of Ripa’s new book at her dinner party at Scarpetta.

Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa ‘In Their Own Little World’ During ‘Intimate’ Date Night, Eyewitness Says

Romance rumors are on the rise as Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa were spotted out on an “intimate” date night in New York City.

The pair was snapped sharing dinner in a corner booth at Miss Lily’s Jamaican Restaurant in the East Village on Wednesday. An eyewitness tells ET that they dined from about 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., saying goodbye with a hug and a kiss on the sidewalk before leaving in separate cars.

“They sat next to each other. They seemed very into each other, leaning in over the table, sharing food, and enjoying their conversation. Not surprisingly, he had her laughing a few times too!” the eyewitness says.

“After dinner they stepped outside the restaurant and before leaving each other, they shared a kiss,” the eyewitness continues. “They were in their own little world.”

The next day, Noah went on air to announce that he was going through something of a professional split — ending his longtime gig as the host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. He has been behind the desk of the program since 2015, when he took over for Jon Stewart.

In the romance department, Noah was last linked to Euphoria actressMinka Kelly. The former couple reportedly called it quits in May after two years together. ET has learned that Noah is now on the dating app, Raya.

Lipa, meanwhile, ended her own two-year relationship with Anwar Hadid in December 2021. In the June/July 2022 issue of Vogue, she declared that “the next chapter of my life is about truly being good with being alone.”

The “Levitating” singer even went so far as to document herself going out on solo dates. As she put it, “I want to know I can just be there for myself, you know?”

Dua Lipa’s recent night out with Trevor Noah is the talk of the internet.

The “Sweetest Pie” singer, 27, and Daily Show host, 38, were seen enjoying a night out together for dinner in New York City Sept. 28.

Dua rocked a black leather blazer over a plunging black shirt, baggy blue jeans and a pair of animal-printed heels. She completed her look with a snakeskin print handbag and silver dangling earrings. Trevor kept it simple in black jeans, Nike sneakers and an army-style jacket that he wore over a black shirt.

The pair dined at Miss Lily’s, a Caribbean restaurant in the East Village of NYC. Afterward, the comedian and “Levitating” singer were spotted taking a stroll and embraced in a kiss and hug before they parted ways.

While Dua and Trevor haven’t said anything about the status of their relationship, fans on social media are buzzing about a possible romance between the two.

One person tweeted, “happy for dua lipa and trevor noah, sad for myself because i wanted both of them,” while another wrote on Twitter, “I think Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa look cute together. Also the funny guy always gets a hot girl DUH.”

A third person added, “if trevor noah and dua lipa are dating then good for her, i love trevor noah.”

Trevor’s night out with Dua came just one day before the comedian announced he was leaving the Daily Show after seven years.

“It’s been absolutely amazing,” the Emmy winner told the audience during the show’s Sept. 29 taping. “It’s something that I never expected. I found myself thinking throughout the time of everything we’ve gone through. The Trump presidency, the pandemic, just the journey, more pandemic and I realize that after the seven years, my time is up.”

Trevor, who took over hosting duties from Jon Stewart in 2015, added, “I’ve loved hosting this show. It’s been one of my greatest challenges. It’s been one of my greatest joys. I’ve loved trying to figure out how to make people laugh even when the stories are particularly s–tty on the worst days.”

Dua Lipa, Lizzo and Jack Harlow are among the top artists to headline the 2022 iHeart Radio Jingle Ball Tour taking place in 11 cities this coming holiday season.

Roughly 10 performers will be featured on each of the shows. Other performers rotating through the bill at the concerts this year include Sam Smith, the Kid Laroi, Demi Lovato, Lewis Capaldi, Pitbull, Charlie Puth, Backstreet Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Nicky Youre, Anita, Khalid, Tate McRae and more.

The tour will stop in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Tampa and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.

A television special for the CW Network will be taped at the Z100 Jingle Ball taking place in New York on Dec. 9. The show will air on Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
