Common shares trailer for “special” new Apple TV+ series ‘Silo’

Common‘s headed to the small screen for the new Apple TV+ series Silo, the trailer for which dropped Monday. He shared the teaser on his Instagram, noting he’s excited for fans to see the show.
“I’m so honored and excited to be a part of this great piece of art,” Common wrote. “I’m equally excited for y’all to see it. ‘Silo’ is special. It’s got something.”
According to Apple.com, Silo, a 10-episode series, is the story of the last 10,000 people on Earth, who live in a mile-deep silo to protect themselves from “the toxic and deadly world outside.” Common plays the role of Sims alongside fellow stars Rebecca Ferguson, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones and Tim Robbins.
Silo, created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost, premieres May 5.
