YG Entertainment Clears the Air Regarding G-Dragon’s Contract Status

Recently, there were rumors that G-Dragon had parted ways with YG Entertainment after his name was not found on the label’s official roster of artists and actors under contract for 2023. 

Many G-Dragon fans have been eagerly waiting to hear news about his comeback or future solo activities. However, they became perplexed and concerned when they couldn’t find his name on YG’s official lineup of artists.

This sparked speculation and rumors that G-Dragon had probably already left YG Entertainment. 

In response, YG Entertainment clarified with the media and stated that G-Dragon is still part of the company. An official from the label told TV Report, “G-Dragon is the only member of Big Bang to remain with YG but his name has been omitted from the report due to the company report system.”

Meanwhile, back in January, G-Dragon revealed through his official YouTube channel that he will return to activities. He explained, “I’ll be returning with various activities this year. I’m preparing an album too. I’ll make this a year when I bring some good news.”
