‘Yellowstone’ Star Lainey Wilson Shut Down the ‘Tonight Show’ in a Lacy Crop Top

Lainey Wilson just might be unstoppable. In recent months, she starred as Abby on Yellowstone, won CMA awards for New Artist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year, and embarked on a sold-out headlining tour. (We still haven’t recovered from that viral fashion moment.) And she’s left a stylish impression at every stop along the way.
This week, the Bell Bottom Country singer took the stage on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She and Hardy performed their hit single, “Wait in the Truck” from Hardy’s number 1 album, the mockingbird & THE CROW. For the appearance, Lainey put a twist on what has become her trademark style. She paired a bedazzled black crop top with lacy sleeves and a flat-billed cowboy hat (topped with a feather!) with studded leather bell bottoms and layers of gold jewelry. (Love this look? The duo brought the house down with a haunting performance of their powerful song. Hardy shared a video of their appearance on Instagram, and fans flooded the pair with comments and fire emojis.

This new outfit might just rival the one Lainey wore the last time she performed on The Tonight Show. In May 2022, she took the stage to sing “Heart Like a Truck” in a colorful patchwork suit, complete with patchwork bell bottoms (of course).
We have a feeling 2023 is going to be a huge year for Lainey, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.
