‘GMA3’ stars Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have reportedly signed exit deals
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are officially out at “GMA3” after a day’s worth of headlines suggesting their ouster was imminent. “After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News,” a rep for ABC told People in a statement on Friday (Jan. 27). “We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions. A decision for new co-hosts will come later.”
According to TMZ, both T.J. and Amy’s exit came with “compensation packages,” though no further details had been reported as of Friday evening.
Earlier in the day, a People source claimed the colleagues-turned-couple were “devastated” by ABC’s handling of their behind-the-scenes romance, which made headlines in November when they were both still married to, though separated from, other people. Insiders have also told People, as well as other outlets, that after T.J. and Amy were put on hiatus in early December, the working assumption was they’d soon be officially let go. “They’re proceeding with their divorces as they were going to anyway, and they’re in mediation with ABC about what the future holds,” one source told the outlet. “But nobody feels like they could possibly be put back on air after the way this has been handled.”

Harry Styles apologizes to fans for mid-show pants rip
While attempting to execute a romantic, one-knee kneel onstage in Inglewood, California, this week, Harry Styles was briefly sidetracked from his Love on Tour show when his brown leather pants suddenly ripped apart, right at the middle zipper seam, during “Music for a Sushi Restaurant.” The singer — whose childhood crush Jennifer Aniston was reportedly in the audience — recovered from the moment quickly, though, covering up his vaguely exposed undies with a towel until a fan gifted him a rainbow pride flag, which he tied around his waist before forging ahead with the concert.
“My trousers ripped,” Harry said in a clip shared on social media Thursday. “I feel I must apologize to a certain few of you right down in the front there. I mean, this is a family show,” he joked.
Meanwhile, over on Twitter, fans were clearly enjoying everything about the incident. “Harry Styles ripping his pants open wasn’t the first thing I was expecting to see when I opened Instagram, but I’m glad it was,” one person wrote (per Yahoo). “Harry Styles’ pants rip right in front of his first celebrity crush Jennifer Aniston…,” another user posted. “Custom Gucci pants. Not sure Gucci wanted this sort of ‘exposure’ but here we are.” Badum-ching.

George Clooney reveals he had Bell’s palsy as a teen
It’s safe to say Jimmy Kimmel learned two key lessons on the Thursday (Jan. 26) edition of his show. One, bad throwback pics don’t always make for good comedy and two, never underestimate the social lubricant power of adult beverages on live TV. While chatting with guests Snoop Dogg and George Clooney about their early experiences on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Jimmy shared throwback pics of the two, teasing George about his preteen-era bowl coif. “I want to point out that my mother cut my hair,” George deadpanned in response, according to People. Jimmy then showed the audience a photo of the future heartthrob as a teenager. In that photo, George sports an undeniably crooked grin. As it turns out, there was a medical reason for the expression on the Oscar winner’s face.
“Now wait, I want to point out something because you’re going to laugh, gonna make a joke. I have Bell’s palsy there and half of my face is paralyzed,” George said, before covering half of the photo with his hand to show how, “if you go like this, on the other side, it’s a completely different face.” With an air of jokester superiority, George then challenged the comic, teasing, “So now make your joke. Come on, funny man. Come on, let me give you my sad face.”
To his credit, Jimmy handled the whole with impressive aplomb — in the form of shots of booze. “You know what? I didn’t have a joke, George, and you really brought everybody down,” he quipped. After a pause, he added, “Maybe we should have another toast to bring things back up,” and they did just that.
Tristan Thompson’s new mansion sparks new Khloe Kardashian romance rumors
Khloe Kardashian’s fans are wondering if the Hulu star is giving her ex another chance (again). According to The Sun, Tristan Thompson recently snapped up a new home just two miles from Khloe’s $17 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California. A “trust associate” for the NBA player reportedly signed a $12.5 million deed for the six-bedroom digs, potentially putting Tristan just a few minutes’ drive from Khloe and the former couple’s two children, as well as Khloe’s mom, Kris Jenner.
Fans seem to think Khloe may have waded back into romantic territory with Tristan after the recent death of his mom, Andrea Thompson. Of course, a desire to be closer to the kids could also explain Tristan’s rumored real estate move. After all, he sold his previous pad in Encino, California, in May 2022, after he and Khloe split but just a few months before they confirmed they were welcoming a son via surrogate. Tristan was also newly signed to the Chicago Bulls at the time, another potential reason to ditch his L.A.-home.

As Sydney Sweeney prepares to reprise Jane Fonda’s sexy universe savior “Barbarella,” Jane admits she’s nervous about the new film. “I worry about what it’s going to be,” the 85-year-old silver screen legend recently told The Hollywood Reporter. “I had an idea of how to do it that [original producer] Dino De Laurentiis, when he was still alive, wouldn’t listen to. But it could have been a truly feminist movie,” she explains. With a remake in the works, Jane added that she simply tries to avoid thinking about it too much.
Though it soon became a cult classic in part because of her sexualized character, Jane has said she later felt playing a sex symbol was akin to taking “the easy road” prior to her becoming serious about activism. “I would say that ended with Barbarella,” she told HuffPo in 2015, per ET.
