Relaying a message of tolerance has become for her “an obligation” which she fulfills “either in schools, in prisons, in homes, with young people, parents, with any public”. In ten years, other attacks have taken place in France, such as the assassination of Samuel Paty, in October 2020.
“Every drama that happens is scary, awakens pain and at the same time, I don’t give up because you have to work, you have to go towards this youth.”

“Unfortunately, there are also all these messages that we hear through the media that hurt these young people, and which also hurt me,” she lamented. “When I hear ‘Muslims and terrorists, it’s the same thing’, it means that I am a terrorist,” she added. However, “how could I be a terrorist and give my son to serve the Republic?”
Latifa Ibn Ziaten “manages to cash in and understand, because people, to win, they hurt, because hatred is easy”. But “that’s not how you win,” she said, for “men who speak like this and who run to be the so-called President of the Republic”.
