Taylor Swift: Laura Dern, Haim and Dita Von Teese to star in ‘Midnights’ video series

Taylor Swift is said to have recruited Laura Dern, Haim and Dita Von Teese, among others, to star in the video series accompanying her new album ‘Midnights’.
The pop singer’s latest record was released on Friday (October 21), and Taylor has now announced that she has created a series of “music films” to accompany her album.
The music videos will feature a number of famous faces, each starring in the short films. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about her latest visual project, Taylor said: “I love telling stories, I love songwriting, I love writing videos, I love directing them.” The artist also revealed that she has reunited with cinematographer Rina Yang, who worked with her last year on her short film ‘All Too Well’, starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien.
Speaking of her upcoming ‘Midnight’s’ movies, Swift added: “We wanted to challenge ourselves doing different things this time… I’m really proud of what we’ve created and I really hope you guys enjoy it. We worked with some great actors…” In addition to Laura Dern, Dita Von Teese and Jack Antonoff, as well as the Haim sisters Alana Haim, Danielle Haim and Este Haim, other famous faces such as Pat McGrath, Laith Ashley, Jon Early, Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Mike Birbiglia will be there. The first in the mini-film series, the video for Swift’s new single ‘Anti-Hero’, is out Friday (October 21).
