Spectators were left stunned when a performer at Universal Studios Hollywood was rushed to hospital following a terrifying 30 foot stunt dive gone-wrong.
The stuntman was hauled unconscious from the water after he plummeted from a tower during a performance of the famed WaterWorld show, as fellow performers scrambled to save the man’s life.
Footage of the aftermath of the accident shows the performer, named by a witness as Kyle Kolar, being dragged from the water by cast members after he didn’t immediately surface from the depths.
Kolar’s identity has not yet been confirmed. His brother Brandon refused to comment when contacted by DailyMail.com Wednesday. Further updates on Kolar’s condition have not been shared.

Daisy Anguiano, who shared a clip of the incident online, said the stuntman fell from one of the studio’s high-rise towers as part of the act, before it became clear that the planned stunt had gone horribly wrong.
She told ABC7: ‘It was a full house, like it happened in front of everyone.
‘I was like, “Oh my God, some thing or someone might be drowning. It might be the person that just did the drop. Did something happen?”‘
She said the terrifying accident occurred near the finale of the show, when the WaterWorld villain catches on fire and plummets into the water below.
It is currently unclear what caused the medical emergency – whether the stuntman was injured by the fall, the impact of the water – or if he’d suffered a separate medical emergency.
The shocked crowd watched on as one of the performers rushed to find a life jacket, while several other members of staff pulled the unconscious stuntman from the water to an area behind the scenes.

‘Everyone in the staff and the crew is doing this together not letting this person die,’ added Anguiano. ‘He was unconscious while dragging him from the water.’
The performer was given CPR for more than five minutes as staff urgently attempted to resuscitate him, before he was then rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics.
The packed show was ultimately cancelled and traumatized tourists were escorted out from the studio. The condition of the performer is currently unknown.
The WaterWorld show is based upon a 1995 blockbuster film of the same name. The hit movie starred Kevin Costner in a post-apocalyptic epic that was the most expensive film ever made at the time.
The production is performed at Universal Studios theme parks in Hollywood, Japan and Singapore.
A spokesman for Universal Studios Hollywood confirmed the performer remains in hospital, and said: ‘Our thoughts are with him as he receives care. Details surrounding the event are being reviewed.’
