Second Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 Map Found in Modern Warfare 2
There’s a lot going on this fall when it comes to Call of Duty. Modern Warfare 2 is in stores now and Warzone 2.0 will follow soon. It now appears that undisclosed details about Warzone 2.0 have been found in Modern Warfare 2.
When Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 launches, players will initially be able to get started with the Al Mazrah map. But there have been rumors for a while that a second map, called Las Almas, will be added at some point after release. Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming thinks this map will be seen in its entirety in Modern Warfare 2.

Players of that game might find that an open door: Las Almas makes an appearance in the Campaign of Modern Warfare 2 and is also a map in the multiplayer. But these variants are not suitable for the Battle Royale gameplay of Warzone 2.0. Still, the Warzone variant of the map can probably be seen as an easter egg.

A literal map of Las Almas can be found in the Modern Warfare 2 mission El Sin Nombre. It has many features of a Warzone-style Battle Royale map. In addition, according to Tom Henderson, the map resembles concept art he has seen before for Al Mazrah.

When will Warzone 2.0 be released?
Whether Las Almas will indeed be the second Warzone 2.0 map remains to be seen. We probably won’t see the second map until well after the game’s release. That release is quite fast: Warzone 2.0 will be released on November 16 and is free.
