Reversed age by 10 years

In my twenties, my day was always the same. I woke up, showered, had coffee, drove to office, skipped lunch, didn’t drink water, went home, ate something, jumped in bed, washed up, and did the same thing over and over again.
I used to drink occasionally on weekdays, but on Saturday night I was completely drunk. I didn’t sleep well, so I didn’t have time to repair the damage I had done to my body during the day.
In the end, I ended up with physical burnout. My immune system became extremely weak and I started developing infections in my prostate, kidneys and urinary tract. I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and doctors said I had to live with it.
I was tired, low on energy, plagued with urinary tract infections, gas, brain fog and insomnia. My health was getting worse and worse, which led me to lose emotional control and develop depression and anxiety.
I had a kidney stone stuck in my urinary tract and it was very painful. At times it felt like being cut with a knife. I was always worried about when I would be hospitalized. I was under extreme stress for a year. I wasn’t getting enough sleep, and my food wasn’t digesting properly, so at some point my body stopped functioning properly. My chronic illness left me exhausted and almost bedridden.
One day, when I jumped on the train to see my girlfriend in London, I didn’t even have the energy to put up my umbrella. I knew something had to change, something was broken. I went to the doctor and he just shrugged his shoulders and said,
“I can’t find any problems with you.” That’s when I realized that the traditional system wasn’t working for me and I had to take matters into my own hands.
Biohacking was originally defined as fine-tuning one’s inner and outer environment to control one’s biology. My view is simpler. It’s about using technology, supplements, or peripherals to optimize your health and performance.
My first encounter with biohacking was when a friend told me about Bulletproof Coffee. This is a high-fat coffee recipe author Dave Asprey created to support the ketogenic diet. I started researching the “bulletproof diet” and listening to Asprey’s podcast. I realized I’m not the only one in the world who monitors my sleep and takes supplements to make me feel better. However, additional therapy to address my chronic health issues was something I had never experienced before and I knew I had to try.
I started by making sure I had plenty of natural light. I found myself living at home in an artificially lit office with flashing blue LEDs and no sunlight, and thought my vitamin D levels were ridiculously low as a result. .
I started spending more time away from the office. During the summer, I wore shorts and a T-shirt and worked in an outdoor cafe, getting out of England as much as possible and chasing the sun.
I also started prioritizing sleep. Track how deep you sleep. This time is when the body is repairing the damage it has sustained throughout the day, so I was able to optimize for it.
My next strategy was to prioritize hydration and make sure I was drinking mineral-rich filtered water. About 60% of our body is made up of water. Therefore, being 5% dehydrated can significantly reduce cognitive and physical performance.
I have made sure that all the water I drink is free of additives, synthetic hormones and antibiotics. Some researchers believe they may be present in small amounts in UK tap water.
I find it difficult to give simple advice when it comes to nutrition. Some believe that you should only eat meat, while others advocate a vegan diet. In my opinion it’s all about customization.
In my case, the vegan lifestyle destroyed me. My genetics simply required more vitamins and this diet was deficient in them. But I think the ultimate rule of thumb is to not eat processed foods of any kind.
That might mean eating organic vegetables, grass-fed meats, wild fish, honey, or clean filtered water. A growing body of research shows the negative effects highly processed foods have on our health. As a result of these three basic longevity hacks combined with dietary improvements, my body started to blossom.
I took my temperature 3 times a day every day to see how my metabolism was improving, and over the course of 2 months, I found that my metabolism increased significantly and I had more energy.
I realized that even before I got sick, I felt like I was 75% capable of her. I’ve been underperforming for years and now I’m working at such a high level that I’ve only noticed it.
I’ve become almost dependent on improvement. I always wanted to have more energy, a sharper mind, a more positive attitude, and be better.
I now focus on my health and track my health through REM sleep, light sleep, body temperature, heart rate and heart rate variability. Tracking will let you know if you can work out at the gym that day or if your body needs rest.
Biohacking changed my mental state. I went from being miserable, depressed, and anxious to being the person I was as a child. Now I am happy, energetic and very stoic. I don’t really care about that anymore.
When I had problems during my sickest period, I became angry, moody, and quarreled with people around me. Now, when I have a difficult conversation, I sit and think:
How can I fix this?
I think it’s much easier to control your sanity if you have the right basics.
Currently, I am 44 years old with a biological age of 33.5. These results came from a telomere test that looks at your DNA and calculates both your biological and metabolic age, which in my case was exactly 21.

My basic advice for anyone looking to improve their health is to eat right, stay hydrated, and sleep right. If you’re stuck mentally, I recommend finding a community that can help.
For me, being part of a group of like-minded people was a huge benefit, not only because I was able to learn from them, but because they shared the same goals and values as me.
For example, if you have friends who go out drinking every night, you may want to drink more often. If you have friends who are healthy, exercise, eat well, and don’t drink, you’ll drink less and be healthier. Biohacking uses technology and nature to mimic the natural environment in an unnatural world. In my opinion, what worked for our ancestors still works, and we should focus on them as much as possible.
