M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore to host Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks

All right, Good morning everyone. Good morning. My name is Rich Tamayo. I’m the senior vice president of stadium operations and guest experience with the Ravens. I’m acting as the emcee today. Um, we’re excited as we are bringing back some really high quality world class events here to *** world class venue, M and T. Bank Stadium. Um, and it is my honor to introduce the president of the Baltimore Ravens, Sashi Brown. Thanks Rich. Thanks your honor and thank you Kathleen Live Nation for being here today. We’re excited to announce the concert and the return of concerts. TmNT Bacon Stadium. It has been *** few years between *** global pandemic and some renovations we did to keep the stadium fresh. We haven’t been able to host the large stadium scale events that are so important for us to be able to host and bring to the Baltimore community. I want to recognize mike friends and M. S. *** who are also here. This has been two weeks of excitement here in Baltimore with our announcement last week of *** 15 year extension of our lease here and our commitment as *** big piece of that, to bring the Ravens keep the Ravens home stadium here at M and T. Bank Stadium. Uh, and we’re happy to right on the heels of that announce this concert that, that we will drop the name here at the moment, but we just wanted to make sure that people understood the partnership between M. S. ***, the city key component of what we want to try to do is not only bring Super Bowl championships and trophies back here to Baltimore, but also bring these types of events to the community. We’ve got *** great complex here at Camden yards with both the Orioles and what they did this summer with McCartney. But then also some of the events that we hope to bring here to this region uh, in this great city as well. We know and believe that with the investments will make with M. S. ***. This will continue to be one of the world’s great venues for live events. And so we’re really excited to announce the concert but wanted to underscore our commitment and the importance of bringing these types of events to the ball community. And with that, with no further ado, we are very excited before I bring up kelly and, and the Mayor to announce that we will have two icons on one night here in Baltimore. We will have *** concert with billy, Joel and Stevie Nicks october 7th. And uh, we know that will resonate with *** lot of people. There are only 10 venues I believe that are gonna have this show and, and Baltimore is one of them were really proud and thankful of live Nation for working with us bringing this here. Bank Stadium will host one of nine Sashi and the most, one of the most highly anticipated concerts of 2023. We know that combined Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks have sold more than 180 million albums worldwide for the young people. That means they streamed *** lot in in your terms. They are considered to be uh two of the music industry’s greatest figures with both being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Mrs Nix *** double inducted as *** member of Fleetwood Mac and *** solo artist and I personally can’t wait to hear uptown girl and Piano man. Uh, ticket sales at the venues across the country are showing that fans are looking forward to seeing these two icons perform and I know the ones here in Baltimore will go very quickly as the flock will flock to M and T. Bank Stadium, the home of the Ravens to witness an absolutely amazing show. I think it goes without saying that making Baltimore one of the few stops for these two legends, speaks volumes about Baltimore being *** city people want to visit and solidifies us as an entertainment destination. So music artists are watching it and you want to come to *** great city with great food and great culture to have your show and the best stadium come to Baltimore as you all know, I’m *** huge Ravens fan and I firmly believe M and T. Bank Stadium is *** great place to watch sporting events but it is also *** phenomenal concert venue. Of course my favorite memories in this building are us beating the squealers and the bungles, but also by me seeing Beyonce live in person. This concert will go *** long way in showcasing our city and letting those who attend experience some of the best that our city has to offer. Once again, we’re very thankful and looking forward to working with the Ravens and Live Nation and bringing more world class events like this to Baltimore and of course more Lombardi trophies. Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks are bringing their tour to Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium on Oct. 7.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, on Ticketmaster.

Officials from Live Nation, joined Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and Baltimore Ravens President Sachi Brown, made the announcement Thursday morning from the stadium.
