Kartik Aaryan’s introductory wedding song in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ cost the makers Rs 7 crore | Hindi Movie News

Kartik Aaryan recently wrapped the shoot of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ with a lavish dance number. Turns out, the makers have invested heavily in this song on the insistence of their lead actor.
The song is said to be a dream sequence, featuring Christian, Muslim, Gujarati and south Indian weddings. According to a news portal Kartik Aaryan insisted on this introductory number, which was mounted on a budget of Rs 7 crore. Since Kartik’s character of Satyaprem wants to get married in the film’s story, this dream sequence song of a wedding fit the bill. Apart from Kartik, this song will also feature Kiara Advani.
It has been further revealed that four sets were put up for this one lavish song. The Christian ceremony was inspired by Santorini, Greece, the Gujarati one had a mohalla set up while famous temples from the south were re-created for the south Indian wedding and the Muslim marriage is hosted in a banquet hall, stated the report. Two wedding sets were put up at Madh Island while the two other wedding sets were erected at a studio in Malad.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is scheduled to hit the screens on June 29.
