SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble debut trailer, details, and screenshots; English version announced for Asia

Bandai Namco has released the debut trailer, information, and screenshots for SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble, its newly announced side-scrolling beat ’em up game, as well as confirmed it will launch in Asia with English language support alongside its Japanese release for Switch and PC via Steam on March 23. The Switch version will be available both physically and digitally.

Story
A game that inherits the setting of the Shin Kamen Rider movie. No matter how many times he is defeated, protagonist Takeshi Hongo rises again to fight for the sanctity of mankind.

The characters of the Shin Kamen Rider movie appear in super deformed (SD) style. In this action game, you can enjoy the thrill of becoming a fierce fighter who gets stronger with every defeat.

The upcoming movie, Shin Kamen Rider, will be made into a beat ’em up/hack and slash game. The crazy fight between Kamen Rider and SHOCKER will now be displayed in a SD visual style, with various kinds of power up systems that lie in wait for players to experience. Shin Kamen Rider, The Movie
The movie, Shin Kamen Rider, has been scheduled to be released in Japan in March 2023. It was announced that the film will be produced on 3 April 2021—the 50th anniversary of Kamen Rider—and is meant as a new original work that respects the series.
The film has been written and directed by Hideaki Anno, who has created several blockbuster hits. The main character, Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider, is played by Sosuke Ikematsu—an actor who has created a name for himself in Japanese cinema. The heroine, Ruriko Midorikawa, is played by well-known actress, Minami Hamabe, while Hayato Ichimonji/Kamen Rider No. 2 will be played by Tasuku Emoto—a very talented individual who fits the role perfectly.
The best cast and crew in Japan today have poured their hearts and souls into the creation of Shin Kamen Rider – a story about good and evil, and how the fate of the world depends on one man who can save it from destruction.
