‘Salman Khan would only come for 2-3 hours’: Farah Khan reveals body double shot half of ‘Saajanji Ghar Aaye’

Salman Khan played a supporting role Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Farah Khan revealed that 50% of the song ‘Saajanji Ghar Aaye’ was shot using a body double.
Farah Khan has worked with several actors as a director, but before she started her filmmaking career, she had already worked with the biggest superstars in Hindi cinema as a choreographer. She recently revealed that while shooting the song “Saajanji Ghar Aaye” from the 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, actor Salman Khan would turn up on set only for a few hours, and half of the song was shot using his body double.
Farah shared this tidbit during a recent appearance on the dance reality show India’s Best Dancer, where Salman’s body double for the song, Rit, was also present. She said, “Rit ji bahut cute tha yaar. Main bata du Saajanji Ghar Aaye mein, Salman ka aadha gana Salman ka dupe banke Rit ji ne kiya hai. Really, kyunki Salman aata hi tha 2-3 ghante ke liye. To baki back shot, top shot, wide shot, sab Rit ji karta tha (Rit is very cute. Did you know he did half of Saajanji Ghar Aaye as Salman’s duplicate? Salman used to come only for two-three hours. So all the back shots, top shots, wide shots were done by Rit).”
