Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ new movie lands 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating

Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ new movie, You Hurt My Feelings, has received a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.
You Hurt My Feelings is the new film by Nicole Holofcener. The picture follows a novelist (Louis-Dreyfus), whose longstanding marriage is suddenly thrown into turmoil when she hears her husband’s honest opinion of her new book.
The movie has earned rave reviews and earned a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, a feat that very few films achieve. Films that do achieve such a score usually see their rating drop a little over time, too as more reviews come in and the average gets skewed lower by a higher number of scores.

Very few movies manage to maintain a perfect 100% for all time, however 12 Angry Men, Cool Hand Luke, The Kid, Singin’ in the Rain, The Terminator and Toy Story are all examples of movies that have maintained this incredible score.
Still, You Hurt My Feelings has fared very well critically and has scored higher than the majority of most Oscar nominees this year, with only The Banshees of Inisherin, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, and Argentina 1985 scoring higher.

This is another hit for Louis-Dreyfus, who currently stars in Eddie Murphy’s new movie You People and also had an MCU cameo in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
In that movie, Louis-Dreyfus reprised her role from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. She will next be seen as Valentina in Marvel’s Disney+ series Secret Invasion.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now playing in cinemas worldwide and premieres on Disney+ on February 1. The first movie is also streaming on Disney+.
