Chris Hemsworth’s Fat Thor Gets Special New Funko

A new Funko was revealed, showcasing a popular scene from Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame.
When it comes to merchandising, there aren’t many juggernauts as big as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Not only does the MCU release countless products based on its new projects, but those same movies or shows can still utilize years down the line for even more new goodies. For example, Captain America: Civil War came out just under seven years ago, yet Funko only just announced a massive line of interconnected figures from the fan-favorite movie.
This certainly isn’t a bad thing, as it’s just a unique benefit of a property as uniquely profitable as Marvel.
Now, that same company has announced another big collectible, this time from a film released five years ago.
Fat Thor Chills in New Asgard for MCU Funko Set
A diorama of the moment Fat Thor was revealed to audiences in Avengers: Endgame was made in Funko form, as both he and Korg chill and play Fortnite.
The Pop! Moment Deluxe set was announced by Funko as part of its 2023 Funko Fair marketing.
The set features a new clear plastic backdrop with a flat depiction of their New Asgard home.

Comparing the setup to an image from the film, it’s certainly an accurate depiction of Thor’s first sighting in the fourth Avengers movie.
How Funko Is Expanding Its Marvel Studios Collection
This isn’t the first time this moment has been immortalized in a collective. Back in June 2021, a LEGO set with Fat Thor and New Asgard was revealed—those who now own that might want to get on this one, too.
For fans of Funkos, there are plenty more recently announced figures. In fact, a chunk of the line-up for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has already been revealed.
Those looking forward to Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania can also find figures from that upcoming film in stores now.
If it’s a big diorama one seems, then be on the lookout for the recently revealed Spider-Man: No Way Home construction scene set, which features all three Spideys and their respective villains.
Avengers: Endgame is now streaming on Disney+.
