The film marks SRK’s return to cinema after 4 years and it has already minted more than Rs. 200 crores worldwide. In India alone, the film has managed to garner approximately Rs. 130 crore, which is a huge feat. The bumper box office figures come as a relief for Bollywood, who had been struggling at the box office. With such a blockbuster opening for Hindi cinema, looks like the momentum is here to stay with the upcoming lineup. Here are the films that could lead Hindi cinema to a good box office figure in 2023.

Shehzada: The next film to release after Pathaan is Shehzada. The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon and is directed by Rohit Dhawan. Shehzada is a remake of the popular Allu Arjun’s Telugu drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which released in the theaters in 2020. The film’s buzz is strong and both Kriti and Kartik have proved to be a hit pair with Luka Chuppi. Shehzada is released on February 10, 2023.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar: Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar promises to bring back the cult rom-com genre to Bollywood. The film, directed by Luv Ranjan, marks Ranbir’s return to rom com after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film releases on March 8, 2023.

Bholaa: Ajay Devgn’s magnum opus film Bholaa starring him and Tabu is already become the talk of the town, thanks to the cinematography and the scale of production. The reaction to the teaser has been phenomenal and if the initial buzz is anything to go by, the film is expected to do wonders at the box office. Bholaa releases on March 30, 2023.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan: Salman Khan’s big Eid release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, has already set a big expectation for fans. The trailer for the film released recently and Bhai fans have been waiting with bated breath to see Salman return onscreen. The film releases on April 21, 2023.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Gully Boy co-stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh return onscreen with a unique love story. The film will mark Alia’s return to cinema after a fantastic 2022.
