Diddy has given fans a taste of what to expect this upcoming summer thanks to his new single “Act Bad” featuring the City Girls and Fabolous.
Earlier this year, the City Girls teased a new single they were working on, and the track is now ready to hit the streets. On Thursday (May 25), Diddy shared the news in several posts on Instagram.
One post featured a collage of the girls with Diddy and Fab, surrounded by money and the Harlem-bred mogul’s DeLeon Tiquilia. In another post, while enjoying time on the golf course, the Bad Boy Founder shared a video explaining the inspiration behind the track, which is set to arrive at midnight on Friday (May 26).
“We all teamed up together to drop the song of the summer,” he said. “It’s gonna be an Act Bad summer.” According to Diddy, “acting bad” means embracing personal freedom, letting go, and “not giving a fuck.”
In his most recent post, Diddy shared the NSFW trailer for the upcoming track and it’s accompanying video.
News of the new track will hopefully quell some of the requests for new music the City Girls have received. Recently, Yung Miami explained to their fans that while they appreciate the anticipation, the pair will not be rushed.
Meanwhile, Yung Miami recently had to check Love & Hip Hop alum Raqi Thunda for commenting about her relationship with Diddy.
Despite the City Girls rapper declaring herself single last month, this new collab and their recent appearance at the Met Gala hints at a possible change in their relationship status.

Puff was also seen sweating bullets as he was grilled about the seemingly on-again, off-again fling while talking to La La Anthony on the red carpet at the Met Gala.
“I have the million dollar question right now. Are you ready for it? … So, do y’all officially go together real bad?” La La asked, which left Diddy wiping sweat from his forehead before attempting to deflect the question to Miami.
After stumbling over his words and pleading ignorance over the question, Diddy finally replied — albeit without quite giving La La the clarity she needed.
“We definitely go together real bad. She’s my date for the night, she’s incredible,” he said. “We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it; we don’t put titles on it.
