Brendan Fraser attended the AARP Movies For GrownUps Awards ceremony, which was held in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.
The 54-year-old performer was joined by his longtime partner Jeanne Moore and his The Whale co-star Hong Chau on the red carpet.
His appearance comes after it was announced he had been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the Darren Aronofsky-directed film.

The Encino Man star offset the dark blue two-piece with a stark white shirt and black dress shoes.
Chau looked lovely in a white fringe gown with a silver satin skirt that fell to the floor.
Her dark brunette hair tumbled down her back and chest in glamorous curls.
Fraser’s longtime love Moore kept it classic in a black spaghetti-strap dress with a sexy slit up one leg.

Fraser is currently making the rounds on the awards circuit after The Whale made its theatrical debut last month following months of anticipation from fans and critics, alike.
It’s based on Samuel D. Hunter’s play of the same name, and the playwright also penned the film’s screenplay.
In addition to Fraser and Chau, the movie’s cast included impressive performances by Sadie Sink and Ty Simpkins.
The feature is centered on a reclusive English professor (Fraser) who attempts to reestablish a relationship with his daughter (Sink).

Development on the movie was not officially announced until 2021, when its director and star signed on to work on the project.
Physical production on the feature took place in New York state that same year.
The Whale had its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival, which occurred last September, before it was released to the public last month.
The movie was met with a mixed response from critics, although the performances of Fraser, Sink and Chau were praised by many.

The film was also a moderate success at the box office, as it has grossed nearly $14 million on a budget of $3 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
Fraser has since been nominated for numerous Best Actor awards for his work on The Whale, and he took home the distinction at the recently-held Critics Choice Movie Awards ceremony.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the much-celebrated performer had been put up for the Academy Award for Best Actor.
He is set to go up against Colin Farrell, Bill Nighy, Paul Mescal and Austin Butler for the distinction, which will be given out on March 12.
