Black Adam: The audience score pulverizes press reviews
Written by ABC AUDIO on October 21, 2022
Black Adam is now in most theaters around the world, with previews Thursdays in the US and the film officially releasing today. Important factor in the choices of American studios, besides the box office, the reviews of the fans on the main aggregators. Premiering yesterday, fans can now rate the film under the Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score, which is literally destroying press reviews.
The first twenty-four hours of operation of Black Adam are decisive and announce a big opening weekend for the DC Comics anti-hero. Its score on aggregator Rotten Tomatoes is 90%, while critics’ score is only 44%. The movie also has a 7.4 rating on IMDb, which isn’t bad at all.
That 90% earns one of the highest Rotten Tomatoes audience scores for a Dwayne Johnson film, along the lines of Red Notice, Jungle Cruise, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, and Jumanji. If it is still far too early to see the studios decide on a Black Adam 2, the actor and the producers have no doubts about it and are already planning a quick release of the next opus.
