Bam Margera: Jackass star goes missing after saying he’d smoke crack ‘until I’m dead’ | US News

TV prankster released video earlier this week demanding his ex-wife allowed him to see their son Phoenix or he would cause harm to himself.
Troubled former Jackass star Bam Margera appears to have gone missing just days after posting a video in which he threatened to “smoke crack” until he was dead if he wasn’t allowed to see his son.
The 43-year-old’s brother Jess tweeted on Sunday morning asking followers to keep an eye out for his sibling.
“If anyone in the LA area knows of bams current whereabouts or a hotel he might be at please call the LAPD immediately,” he wrote.
“I am trying to get them to ping his phone but as usual it’s a whole huge process and I don’t think we have that kind of time. If you guys could all retweet this that would be really cool of you. Thanks for your help.”
On Thursday, Bam posted a since-deleted video on Instagram in which he attacked his ex-wife Nikki Boyd for not letting him see his son Phoenix.
“I haven’t seen Phoenix in two ****ing months and I’m so ****ing fed up I cry every day. I miss him so much and I wake up every day and knowing that I probably won’t get to talk to him or see him,” he said.
“So yes Nikki drives me to ****ing drink, so does my ****ing mom and so does my ****ing pep-talking dad who tells me nothing but I am a ****ing fat loser piece of **** drug addict.
“I’m going to smoke crack down with the bums at the boardwalk until I’m dead unless you deliver me ****ing Phoenix. Get to work Nikki, or anyone that wants to help. I want Phoenix.”

Jackass star surrenders to Pennsylvania police over alleged assault
Bam Margera has restraining order filed on him by franchise director
Margera and Boyd split up in 2021 and she filed for divorce in February this year. Margera has not seen his son since 29 March, and has not been allowed to communicate with him electronically, according to his lawyer.
Earlier this year, Margera surrendered to police in Pennsylvania after allegedly attacking Jess. He was charged with simple assault, harassment and four counts of terroristic threats but pleaded not guilty.
Margera was one of the original stars of Jackass, the MTV series that featured Johnny Knoxville and his friends carrying out stunts and pranks on each other and the public.
He appeared in subsequent Jackass TV series and films but was reportedly issued with a temporary restraining order in 2021 by the director of the franchise.
His relationship with the franchise had become increasingly strained after he was fired during the production of the fourth instalment of the Jackass movies for refusing to go to his contractually-obliged rehabilitation.
Margera launched legal action against Paramount Pictures, Jackass director Jeff Tremaine and troupe co-creators Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze, alleging he was illegally dismissed.
