AHM Launches New Honda CBR250RR Sport Motor

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) officially launched the New CBR250RR by adopting the character of a large motorcycle in the overall body design, abundant features, and more powerful engine performance. The new CBR250RR now has an aggressive shape design with wider dimensions in the overall appearance of the body.
Themed speedy shape, the character of sharp pieces in each curve adds to the impression of aggressiveness and speed like a racing motorbike. The body design of this latest model also supports contributing to ease of control when maneuvering.
AHM President Director Keiichi Yasuda said, the New CBR250RR is currently the best 250cc supersport in its class because of its high performance and various futuristic features that support the rider. This latest change with the character of a big motorbike is also believed to be able to attract the attention of motorcycle lovers in Indonesia.
“The new CBR250RR is produced with high technology at the AHM Karawang factory. In some parts of this engine technology it adopts the level of accuracy such as the big bike model,” said Yasuda at the launch of the New CBR250RR, Monday (19/9/2022).
The new CBR250RR SP and SP Quick Shifter variants are equipped with a compact 250cc 2-cylinder DOHC 8-valve engine, so that it can produce a maximum power of 31 kW (42 PS) / 13,000 rpm and a maximum torque of up to 25 Nm (2.5 kgf.m)/ 11,000 rpm.

AHM Executive Vice President Director Johannes Loman said, as a lightweight supersport motorcycle, the light weight of the New CBR250RR makes it easy for the rider to enjoy a better maneuvering experience.
This AHM motorbike only takes 8.65 seconds to reach a distance of 200 meters and is able to reach a top speed of up to 175kph. This time record places the latest variant of the CBR as the highest performance standard in the 250cc two-cylinder super sport class.
New CBR250RR standard variants, SP and SP-Quick Shifter have also been equipped with the latest features, namely the front suspension equipped with SFF-big piston. This latest feature makes the motorcycle more stable when riding. New features on the New CBR250RR SP and SP variants – Quick Shifter are also visible with the embedding of hazard lights
There are four adjustable quick shifter modes on the New CBR250RR, namely the mode that activates the quick shifter to raise and lower the gear, only to raise the gear, to lower the gear only, and the quick shifter off mode.
AHM presents a new color for the New CBR250RR SP variant, namely mystique blue which is marketed at an OTR (on the road) price for DKI Jakarta of Rp. 75.150.000. Meanwhile, the SP-Quick Shifter variant comes with a new price of bravery red black, Honda racing red and tri color which is priced starting from Rp. 79,200,000. Then, the standard variant of the New CBR250RR comes with two color choices, namely black freedom and black metallic gunpowder mat, starting from Rp. 62.850.000.
