For quite a while Hilton Honors has been offering a bonus for new program members. This promotion has now been extended into 2022…
New Hilton Honors members can earn 5K points
New members of Hilton Honors can earn up to 5,000 bonus points after two paid stays:
- To take advantage of this promotion, members must enroll by March 31, 2022
- Members earn 2,000 bonus points after the first stay, and 3,000 additional bonus points after the second stay
- Stays must be booked directly with Hilton
- Stays must be completed within six months of joining Hilton Honors
- Hilton Honors awards don’t qualify towards this promotion
- There’s no registration required
Personally I value Hilton points at ~0.5 cents each, so that’s an incremental $25 worth of points after two stays by my valuation. That’s not life changing, though it’s nice when you consider that it’s on top of normal points earning opportunities.
That’s because this promotion can be stacked with Hilton Honors’ standard global promotions. For example, on January 1, 2022, Hilton Honors is launching the Points Unlimited promotion, offering 2,500 bonus points per stay, with no limits.
So after two paid stays with this promotion, new members would earn a minimum of 10,000 Hilton Honors points, not even accounting for the base points one earns.
The easiest way to earn Hilton Honors points

Bottom line
New Hilton Honors members can earn 5,000 bonus points after completing two stays. This is in addition to the points that can usually be earned. So for those few OMAAT readers who aren’t yet Hilton Honors members, this promotion could be worth taking advantage of.
