Wide receiver is the best paid skill position outside of quarterback. It is well represented among the league’s highest-paid players. And a mega-deal struck by Tyreek Hill with the Miami Dolphins this offseason broke into new financial territory for ball catchers, raising the bar for other star wideouts looking to sign new contracts.
Hill was traded from the Kansas City Chiefs for Miami and signed a new deal for an average of $30 million a season, according to Over The Cap, making him the highest-paid offensive player in the NFL who isn’t a quarterback.

Hill is the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. He signed a 4-year, $120 million contract with the Dolphins that will pay him an average of $30 million a season, according to Over The Cap.
