Aamir Khan organised an intimate get-together at his home to ring in his mother Zeenat Hussain’s 89th birthday.
Bollywood star Aamir Khan makes sure to celebrate his mother, Zeenat Hussain‘s birthday every year. This year too he organised an intimate get-together at his home to ring in her 89th birthday.
Aamir’s sisters, Nikhat and Farhat Khan, also joined the celebration. Filmmaker and Aamir’s former wife, Kiran Rao, was also present at the birthday party. The photos from the celebrations were shared on social media by Punjabi artist Pratibha Singh Baghel who was also there for Hussain’s birthday celebration.
One of the photos had Aamir lighting the candles on his mother’s birthday cake while his daughter Ira Khan watched closely. Other pictures had her posing with the guests at the party. For the party, the Laal Singh Chaddha star opted for a golden kurta which he paired with his trademark harem pants.

Coming to Aamir, the actor is quite close to his mother Zeenat and he makes sure to spend time with her. Last year in October, she suffered a heart attack when she was with Aamir at his Panchgani house for Diwali celebrations.
Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, a film that didn’t find many takers in the cinema halls but was liked by the viewers upon its release on Netflix. However, after the film, Aamir announced that he is taking a sabbatical from films. He said that he wishes to spend more time with his family for at least a year.
Recently, at the trailer launch event of Carry On Jatta 3, Aamir addressed a question about his next project. He said, “I haven’t signed any film yet. I just want to spend time with my family and I am doing just that. When I am emotionally ready to do a film, I will definitely do it.”
