MBC boy group survival show “Fantasy Boys‘” popularity continue to soar as it emerges as “Top Killer Content” on Japan’s Abema platform.

With only the grand finale left to air on the June 8, “Fantasy Boys” has been garnering explosive popularity in Japan. The semi-final ranking announcement ceremony, broadcast live on Abema, the largest OTT platform in Japan, on the June 1, has generated significant attention, propelling the program into greater heights. 

Japanese fans have shown a remarkable level of enthusiasm, contributing to majority of the real-time viewership numbers. Among the 20 finalists, the popular Japanese contestants Hikaru, Hikari, and Yuma have captured the keen interest of Japanese fans.

Anticipation is mounting as “Fantasy Boys” approaches its finale, with a Japan fan concert scheduled for July 9, followed by the show’s official debut this fall.

The grand finale of “Fantasy Boys” will be aired live at 10 p.m. on the June 8, marking the conclusion of this extraordinary season.
