What to Expect in Rise of the Beasts?

As one of the tentpole movies scheduled for a June 2023 release, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is currently on track to achieve a massive opening weekend, which might potentially exceed 2018’s prequel film Bumblebee’s previous record.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is directed by Steven Caple Jr. who first gained recognition for his work on the Michael B. Jordan-led Creed II movie. The upcoming Transformers film is being described as a globetrotting adventure which will take place during the ’90s. In order to capture the vibrant culture of that era, Caple had drawn inspiration from classic action movies like Terminator 2.

In the film, the Autobots are back in action as they enlist the help of the Maximals to help them in their fight against long-time rivals Decepticons, who in turn will be assisted by the Beast Wars villains Predacons and Terrorcons. It will feature the voices of franchise vet Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, Pete Davidson as Mirage, Liza Kosy as Arcee, John DiMaggo as Stratosphere, Ron Perlman as Optimus Primal, Michelle Yeoh as Airazor, Peter Dinklage as Scourge, and more.
