Gunna has made his first public appearance since pleading out of the YSL RICO case, and put his new look on full display in Miami during an NBA playoff game earlier this week.
The Atlanta native has laid relatively low since being released from jail under controversial circumstances in December, but it appears that could be changing soon.
Fans immediately noticed Gunna sporting a more slimmed-down physique while he sat courtside at the Kaseya Center for Game 6 between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics on Saturday night (May 27).
The DS4Ever rapper flexed his physical transformation in a photo that surfaced online earlier this month, leading some fans to compare his post-jail weight loss to that of Gucci Mane.
The 29-year-old’s workout regime appears to be paying off as he rocked floral pants and a black sleeveless T-shirt while watching the thrilling Eastern Conference Finals contest.
Gunna threw more fuel on the fire regarding his comeback as he changed his profile picture on Instagram — which has been wiped clear with the exception of one photo — to some sort of hawk or crow flying through the air.

Gunna and the rest of the fans inside the Kaseya Center were treated to a classic on Saturday as the Celtics, who were at one point down 0-3 in the series, forced a Game 7. Derrick White made a follow-up at the buzzer to give Boston the win and tie things up.
The ATLien has yet to release any new material since regaining his freedom and many fans are wondering whether he’ll continue to rep Young Thug’s Young Slime Life collective after his plea deal.
However, he did tease his comeback earlier this month when appearing in a fan page’s comments section, letting them know he was on the way.
“I’m OTW,” he wrote along with his signature blue P emoji under a post containing an unreleased song snippet.
The “Pushin’ P” rapper pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge in December and was subsequently released from Fulton County Jail, where he’d been locked up since May 2022.
His plea meant he was sentenced to five years with one served. The remaining four-year sentence was reportedly “suspended” so Gunna will serve the rest in the form of 500 hours of community service.
A link to Gunna’s music briefly popped up in Young Thug’s Instagram bio earlier this year before being removed. As for Thugger, he remains in jail with the slow-moving YSL RICO trial still in the jury selection process.
Gunna’s last album, DS4EVER, arrived in January 2022 and debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 150,000 album-equivalent units sold in the first week.
