Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is nearing its release and fans are more than ready for it. The movie has received a great response so far and have even referred to it as the best installment of the franchise yet. Therefore the hopes of the audience are significantly growing as well. The cast itself is one to admire heavily.
Aside from Cruise, the film also includes Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell, Vanessa Kirby, and various other big-name actors. It has already attracted a big crowd. This has allowed the movie to create a bigger hype than it would have first anticipated. However, one thing that did present itself as a matter of concern to the fans was the stretching runtime of the film.

Tom Cruise’s Movie Is The Longest Mission: Impossible Movie Yet
Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning may have a positive response, but the runtime is one factor that is massively bothering fans. The very fact that it has a runtime of two hours and thirty-six minutes has made the audience believe how the movie would be stretched out for such a long span of time. Not only that, but it will also mean that the upcoming movie would be the longest Mission: Impossible movie yet.
The movie is far longer as compared to its predecessors. The first movie was merely one hour and fifty minutes long with the sequel increasing the runtime to two hours and four minutes. The third movie was two hours and six minutes long and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol was two hours and thirteen minutes long. Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Mission: Impossible – Fallout both had a runtime of two hours and eleven minutes and two hours twenty-seven minutes respectively. So far this makes Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One the longest movie.

Tom Cruise Did His Most Dangerous Stunt In Mission: Impossible 7
It is not unusual to see movies that range around this time frame. With the examples of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, John Wick – Chapter 4, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and many more. However, they all manage to find some form of way to flesh out the story accordingly. This seems to be a concern for Tom Cruise’s latest flick. Some have even described it to be “still too long.”
“This is far and away the most dangerous thing I’ve attempted,” the actor explained. “I wanted to do it since I was a little kid.”
The budget of the movie is no less either and that is all because of one stunt that the actor had dreamt of doing for an extremely long time. The stunt included the actor jumping off a cliff with a motorcycle, making it his most dangerous stunt yet. The budget of the movie also expanded to $290 Million.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One will be available to watch in theatres from 12th July 2023.
