Cast includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver. “The Banshees of Inisherin”This movie, starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, tells the story of two lifelong friends who find themselves at a crossroads when one of them abruptly ends their relationship. “The Banshees of Inisherin” also earned a nomination for best original screenplay and best original score. Farrell was nominated for best actor and Kerry Condon was nominated for best supporting actress. Gleeson and Barry Keoghan earned nominations for best supporting actor. A family secret leads him to discover how the power of films can show him the truth. Cast includes Michelle Williams, Paul Dano and Gabriel LaBelle.Alongside the movie’s nominations for best original screenplay and score, Williams was nominated for best actress and Judd Hirsch was nominated for best supporting actor.“Tár”This movie depicts the life of Lydia Tár, the first female director of a major German orchestra.Cast includes Cate Blanchett, Noémie Merlant and Nina Hoss. Along with a nomination for original screenplay, Blanchett was nominated for best actress. “Top Gun: Maverick”Maverick continues to push the envelope 30 years later as a top naval aviator, but his newest challenge is leading Top Gun’s graduates on a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice.
