After Jug Jugg Jeeyo, director Raj Mehta is ready to take the audience on a roller-coaster ride of emotions with his film feat. Akshay and Emraan. The movie is scheduled for release on February 24, 2023. Ahead of the movie’s theatrical release, Akshay released the trailer of Selfiee on his Twitter handle. He took to the platform and wrote, “Iss kahaani ka villain toh pata nahi par hero #Selfiee hai! Watch #SelfieeTrailer now. #Selfiee releasing only in cinemas on 24th Feb. https://bit.ly/SelfieeTrailer (sic).”

Selfiee trailer introduces us to Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar (Akshay). Emraan plays the role of an officer, Om Prakash Agarwal, who is an ardent fan of Vijay. While the trailer gives us a glimpse of their respective lives, it also guarantees laughter and action in abundance.

The official synopsis of Selfiee reads, “Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar needs to obtain a new driving license, from RTO officer, Om Prakash Agarwal, a diehard fan of Vijay. A misunderstanding leads to escalating into a feud which is played out in front of the entire country.”

AKSHAY, EMRAAN’S SELFIEE WITH AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram handle and posted the selfie. The caption to his IG post read, “When I and @therealemraan tried to match kaale kaale naina with kaale kaale clothes #Selfiee @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb (sic).” In the pic, Akshay can be seen twinning in black with Emraan while posing with Aishwarya’s poster from Bunty Aur Babli.
