VANCOUVER, B.C.: Saturday, Jan. 7. Today’s weather is expected to be cloudy, with a few showers beginning this morning, light wind, and a high of 9 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Overnight, there’s a good chance of showers with a low of 5 C and then it’s rain for Sunday and 8 C. Next week will likely start out with rain on Monday followed by an overcast Tuesday and then back to rain on Wednesday, highs of 8 C each day. Thursday and Friday also look rainy, with highs of 9 C both days.

Today: Cloudy, with a few showers beginning this morning. Wind southeast 20 km/h gusting to 40 except gusting to 60 near the water early this morning. Wind becoming light late this morning. High 9 C.

Tonight: Cloudy, with a 60 per cent chance of showers this evening. Clearing overnight. Low plus 5 C.

Tomorrow: Increasing cloudiness. Rain beginning in the morning. Wind east 20 km/h gusting to 40. High 8 C.
