NEW YORK, NY — It is last weekend of November and there’s plenty to do in New York City as we transition fully into the holiday season.
From going to check out a winter village or a natural hair festival in midtown Manhattan, there are lots of options for those looking to get out of the house this weekend.

Saturday
World’s Largest Gingerbread Village: Essex Market, Lower Manhattan
The world’s largest gingerbread village is returning to Essex Market on the Lower East Side Saturday, where it will remain until Jan. 15.

The Village has over 1,500 gingerbread houses in it and will use more than 8,000 pounds of icing to create the house.

Metamoon Music Festival: Barclays Center, Brooklyn
The inaugural Metamoon Music Festival will take place starting at 7 p.m. within Barclays Center.
Performers will include Lay Zhang, 9m88, Amber Liu, Tia Ray, Tyson Yoshia, and more.

Winter Wonderland at Pier 15: South Street Seaport
With the holiday season fully upon us, there’s no better time to check out a winter village.

Harry Connick Jr. Concert: David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center

Natural Hair Fest New York: Midtown, Manhattan
The Natural Hair Fest is taking place in the Watson Hotel at 440 W. 57th St. starting at 10 a.m. and running until 6 p.m.
The fest is aimed at promoting natural hair growth and will include fashion modeling, panels, entertainment, product demos, classes, and more.

Circus Vasquez: Citi Field, Queens
It’s never a bad choice to see the circus when its in town, and Circus Vasquez will have three shows in Citi Field on Sunday.
