The most notable game releases (week 44)

It’s another week with new game releases. Despite the fact that not too many big new games have been released this week, there are still a number of notable games releases this week.

The Chant

Halloween may have been, but that doesn’t mean horror games are going to stop coming out. One of this week’s game releases is The Chant. With this game, developer Brass Token makes a debut. Despite the fact that The Chant has some points for improvement, we did enjoy this original horror game. The Chant can be played on the Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5 and PC.

The Chant is a single player action-adventure horror game with a third person perspective. On an island is a spiritual resort where everything seems perfect and people can process their traumas and problems, until at some point everything turns into a nightmare. The aim is to unravel the history of the island and survive of various scary creatures and members of a cult.

Harvestella

Games in which you maintain a farm have been popular for years, Stardew Valley is also a great success. Square Enix thought it would give the genre its own twist. The game is made in an anime style that we are used to from the publisher and it takes place in an imaginative world. The game has been released on Steam and the Nintendo Switch.

Harvestella has more to offer besides the peaceful farm life. Outside the hometown of Lethe Village there is a whole world to discover, where you also have to fight against all kinds of creatures. In addition, Harvestella also has a storyline where you have to save the world from a darkness that disrupts the seasons.

WRC Generations

If games like Harvestella and The Chant are not for you and you prefer racing, WRC Generations also came out this week. This is the eleventh game in the WRC series. This is also the last WRC game to be developed by the Nacon studio KT-Racing. WRC Generations can be played on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles and PC.

WRC Generations has received a few upgrades from the previous games. For the first time, there are now hybrid cars, a new league system and various engine mapping configurations. You can also create and lead your own team in WRC Generations. Rally race fans can therefore indulge themselves in WRC Generations.
