Is John Wick getting an AAA game?
Fans of the Keanu Reeves movies John Wick will have plenty to look forward to in the near future. For example, John Wick 4 will premiere on March 23 next year and a spin-off series will come to Amazon Prime Video. If it’s up to film distributor Lionsgate, there will also be a ‘big AAA game’, according to Indiewire.

The John Wick movies are a huge success, so it’s no surprise that Lionsgate is looking at opportunities to expand the franchise further. According to Indiewire, CEO Jon Feltheimer told investors during a meeting with investors that the distributor has already received several proposals for a major game based on the films. Nothing is certain yet, but Feltheimer is certainly excited about the idea.

“I don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but we believe a great AAA game can be made based on John Wick. We have received proposals. We are certainly interested in continuing with that, but I don’t want to say anything more about that at the moment.”

Not the first John Wick game
The John Wick movies are about a former hit man named John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, who is forced to return to the criminal underworld he had left. If the AAA game gets there, it won’t be the first John Wick game. There is already the first-person-shooter VR game John Wick Chronicles, in which players can discover the iconic Continental Hotel and see several targets killed. There is also the strategy game John Wick Hex, in which you experience an original story set before the events of the films.
