Ajax can draw these clubs for the Europa League
Ajax has not done well in the Champions League this year. But the club still has chances to win a championship in the Europa League. An opponent will be drawn for this on Monday.

After a number of pretty bad matches in the Champions League, we can say that that tournament cannot be credited to Ajax this season. But those who like to see the club play might see a few nice matches in the Europa League. But who should the Amsterdam club actually compete against?

That will be determined by a draw on Monday. The next round in the Europa League is an intermediate round, in which the numbers three of the Champions League play against a club that finished second in its group in the group stage of the Europa League. That gives Ajax seven potential opponents.

Which club Ajax will meet in the Europa League will be announced on Monday. The draw will take place at 1 p.m., after which the matches will not be played until February 16 and 23. In the meantime, of course, there is a World Cup football, so waiting for those matches will not be too bad for football fans.
