John Wick series coming to Amazon Prime Video
It is getting busier with streaming services. Unfortunately, this also means that new series are increasingly available on services to which you do not have a subscription. But a spin-off series of the popular John Wick movies is coming to an established service: Amazon Prime Video (via Deadline).

John Wick has been out of the picture for a while, but starting next year, the hard-hitting action series will be back in full force. For example, John Wick 4 will be released in March, but it doesn’t stop there. There is also a spin-off series called The Continental.

Fans will recognize that title as the name of the hotel that serves as a safe haven for hitmen in the John Wick movies. The series tells the origin story of the hotel and elaborates on how it really works there. The series takes place before the movies and Keanu Reeves’ John Wick isn’t in it so far.

It had been known for a while that The Continental would appear on Peacock in the US, but no home base had yet been found for abroad. SkyShowtime seemed like a logical choice, given the companies behind that service. But now it is known that it will be Amazon Prime Video, in all countries where this service is available, including the Netherlands.
When will John Wick series The Continental be released?
Unfortunately, it is not yet known on which date The Continental will be released. The series will end up with only three episodes. John Wick 4 currently has a release date of March 23, 2023.
