Chance the Rapper teams up with Lil Wayne and Young Thug for “Instagram Song 8” – Music News

ABC/Randy HolmesChance the Rapper can’t miss, continuing his streak of Instagram-released songs during the COVID-19 quarantine with his most recent offering, “Instagram Song 8,” featuring both Lil Wayne and Young Thug.

The Chicago artist and his guests rap about love, lust and everything between for a smooth track. Although he’s happily married, Chance let us know he’s still got the ladies on lock. Meanwhile, Wayne and Thug aren’t looking for love anytime soon.

Chance raps, “Got a girl that work for NASA and she said I’m a star/Got a girlfriend that’s a rapper and she set up this bar/Got a model, she don’t say shit, she just sat on my car.”

This is the first time Wayne and Young Thug appear on a track together, in the wake of their longtime beef, going back to mid-2015.

For the past week, Chance the Rapper has been releasing songs on Instagram — some only a few seconds long — with barely any detail about whether the song is new or old, unreleased or not.

Seems like Chance is preparing us for new music soon, but for now we’ll enjoy him as the host of MTV revival of Punk’d on Quibi.
