Mike Coppola/Getty Images for People.comBeyoncé is among the many celebrities who continue to speak out in the name of racial injustice, following the tragic death of George Floyd, who died in Minneapolis police custody.

Like many, Queen B accepts as a small victory the fact that on Wednesday, charges were brought against all four officers involved in Floyd’s death. But like many, she understands the fight for racial equality is far from over.

“The world came together for George Floyd,” Beyoncé wrote in an Instagram post. “We know there is a long road ahead. Let’s remain aligned and focused on our call for real justice.”

On Instagram, French Montana called the charges a “Masterpiece,” and revealed that he’s “praying for the worst verdict” — meaning the harshest one possible.

Previously arrested former police officer Derek Chauvin, who knelt on Floyd’s neck for over eight minutes before he died, is now facing second-degree murder charges. The three remaining ex-officers involved are facing felony charges for aiding and abetting murder.

Ice Cube tweeted the mugshots of the four officers, saying, “Gang, Gang.”

On Twitter, rap veteran Ice T said, “Pow! Finally, Now convict,” while Michelle Williams tweeted a black heart and praises in solidarity.

Jermaine Dupri also shared the news on Twitter, while DJ Khaled shared the news on his Instagram.
