The Australian street artist who’s been relentlessly trolling 50 Cent with murals of the entertainment mogul’s face paired with popular media figures has allegedly been assaulted. Though 50 denies any connection to the matter, saying, “That wasn’t me, I didn’t do that.”
On Tuesday, artist Lushsux shared a screenshot from 50’s Instagram page, where he trashed the artist’s latest mural which paints him as boxing champ Mike Tyson, featuring his face tattoo.
Along with the screenshot, Lushsux also posted a photo of what appears to be a hospital bed with bloody sheets. In a detailed post, he alleges receiving medical treatment this month after being attacked by six or seven guys, “because of this.”
“I constantly have to unwillingly fight people (among other insane [stuff] you would not believe even if I told you) on the street who for whatever cooked reason seem to feel the need to come up to me at a wall and start trouble,” Lushux wrote on Instagram.
The street artist has been trolling 50 for weeks by painting a series of comedic murals of 50 as Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Post Malone, former Chinese leader Mao Zedong, and Taylor Swift.
But the Tyson mural was apparently too over the top for 50, who wrote, “This guy needs a whooping bad” on Instagram Tuesday, adding, “He still doing this [stuff?].”
Though 50 has willingly admitted his disgust with the murals — which he regularly shares on Instagram — he says Lushux’s alleged assault isn’t on him.
“The artist got [punched] in the [face],” he wrote on Instagram Wednesday, before denying any connection to Lushus’s attack. “That wasn’t me, I didn’t do that.”
