I matched with my ex on Tinder to stand him up – and watched him alone at bar

Abby decided to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend by creating a fake Tinder profile as she could match with him and stand him up on a date – while she flirted with lads in the same bar…

When relationships end it’s common for the once lovers to wonder what each other are doing.

Some opt to have a cheeky peek at their new lover on Facebook while others may take a peep at their Instagram stories.

Once that is over, people usually tend to move on.

But not for Abby.

Instead of leaving her ex-boyfriend in the past, Abby decided to get some ‘revenge’ although the reasoning for it was not disclosed.

In a viral TikTok clip, she revealed: “I saw my ex was out in the same city as me from one of his friend’s Instagram stories, so I made a fake profile on Tinder and matched with him.

“Told him to meet at the bar I was actually going to that night, all while messaging every cute guy on my actual Hinge to meet up there too.”

Using both dating profiles, Abby managed to convince her ex to meet the same bar she planned to meet her future flames.

“[I] showed up looking better than I ever have or will again.

“And spent an hour flirting [with] every other guy and actively ignoring my ex on top of him thinking he’d been stood up before leaving and going to another bar.”

Brutal!

Plenty of people fled to the comments to praise Abby for her ‘iconic scheme’.

Even Tinder had something to say.

In reference to a Taylor Swift lyric, Tinder’s official TikTok account said: “Lately she’s been dressing for revenge.”

Another user said: “I aspire to be this conniving hahah.”

While a third praised: “You my dear, are an ICON for this!”

Someone else voiced: “The scheme level is immaculate.”

However, not everyone was so convinced that the ‘revenge’ was such a good idea.

One user claimed: “Name it what you want sis, but you’re clearly still invested in that relationship.”

A second blasted: “He was already moved on and is creating new memories but you still stuck in the same old hurt situation.”

As another urged: “Nooooo let’s stop giving ex’s any type of energy!!! This seems like so much effort on someone who belongs in the past.”
