Woman who felt like ‘caged bird’ shuns strict religious background to be star

Reagan Foxx is one of the most popular stars in the adult entertainment industry but she never once thought she’d become a porn star.

The 52-year-old from America grew up with incredibly strict parents as she was raised as a Christian in a religious household.

In school, she was “extremely shy” and not very confident and she didn’t like standing out from the crowd.

“As a kid, I was like a caged bird. I grew up in a strict home and would use kitchen knives to unscramble the old cable boxes to watch the Playboy channel,” she told YNot.

“Did I know I wanted to be an adult performer? No, I didn’t but I guess you could say I started down that path at a young age because my ex-boyfriend would go to the local strip joints.

“I warned him many times if he kept going that one day, he would see me up on stage and he did. That relationship didn’t last long.”

So she worked as a mortgage and financial headhunter and worked in the banking and real estate business.

After eight years in the industry, she grew tired of the job and knew she needed to supplement her income.

She decided to become a camgirl when she was 41 in 2011 – and while she was a very introverted person at the time, she was secretly been in the swinging world with her partner.

“I enjoyed the lifestyle, the flirting, being naked at parties, the open-minded friends and whatnot,” she once told interviewee Captain Jack.

“I knew I would be behind a computer screen and be able to do the things I was doing in the lifestyle, with the flirting and being sexy and I wouldn’t have to touch anyone and I can work when I want. That’s how I got started.”

It wasn’t until 2016 that she shot her first porn movie and now she’s known as one of the most popular MILFs on the internet.

“Some of those years [camming] were incredibly awesome and others flat-out sucked. It seems to me that camming has changed over the past years as well,” she told Fleshbot.

“Back when I started, it felt like camming was known but still new to the industry. Not a lot of people knew about camming. Therefore, it seemed like guys were on cam sites to truly participate and live out any desires they may have with a live girl. Many of us girls made damn good money.

“Nowadays, it seems the camming world has gone mainstream and now thousands of beautiful college girls are on cam along with thousands of freeloading guys. So I determined that camming was no longer the best fit for me and that’s when I met Jodi West.”

Reagan entered the porn industry when she met Jodi and Jay West from the production company Forbidden Fruits.

She had thought she was too old to start porn but realised that Jodi herself had started later than most porn stars.

Now she’s starred in hundreds of videos and is well respected in the industry, even having been nominated for AVN’s MILF Performer of the Year.

Reagan is also the mother of two daughters, who are incredibly supportive of her job.

This doesn’t mean that her porn career hasn’t created some difficulties for the family over the years though.

Early into her porn career, she was away in California when her youngest child, who was in middle school, gave her a call asking who Reagan Foxx was.

The 52-year-old still had two days of shoots left – and was mortified to learn the boys had found her on Pornhub.

Her oldest daughter had already known that she was camming but they were yet to know of her porn career.

Unfortunately, her youngest started getting bullied because of Reagan’s career so the school had to step in and take care of it.

“I just wanted to die. eight months prior, I had a stalker that actually sent some photos to my dad. As a father, opening that up, you can’t unsee that. So I had already gone through that and I told her that I’m going to pull her out of school because I’m not there,” she said in a chat with Adult DVD Talk.

“I’m going to let her stay home for a couple of days and do what you feel you need to do. But when I come home, first thing Monday morning, we’re going to the school. And that’s what we did.

“It was embarrassing for me to handle it with the school counsellor but that’s something I needed to do. They said they had never had that kind of situation but any type of stuff that comes in towards her, they would handle it.”
